Emily and Tim have known each other since they were kids. Tim played on Emily's older brother's t-ball team, and Emily was on the same soccer team with Tim's sister. They weren't really in the same friend groups and Emily was a year behind Tim in school but we went to all the same schools and both attended the same church.

When Emily was a junior in high school, her friend Raven wanted Emily to go with her and her boyfriend to prom. Emily told her that she only wanted to go to prom if she had a date. She decided to introduce Emily to Tim, who was one of her boyfriends friends.

Tim and Emily have been "Facebook official" since March 30th, 2013 and throughout they have grown together. Tim and Emily endured a couple years of a long distance relationship throughout Emily's senior year in high school and three years in college. They went from high school sweetheart’s to college sweethearts and now are starting their adult lives with careers and completing graduate school.
