Our Wedding

We first met in the spring of 2018 while we were both students at Ball State University. Emily was a freshman and Harrison was a sophomore. We were introduced through our roommates, and we started spending time together before officially becoming a couple on October 8, 2018.

When We Met

In the summer of 2020, we took a weekend trip to Saugatuck where we spent the weekend exploring the dunes and the beach town. Little did we know, we would return four years later and leave engaged! We were engaged on June 20, 2024 in Saugatuck, Michigan. It was the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year! We made the most of the long summer day by doing all of our favorite things. In the morning, we grabbed some coffee and headed to the waterfront. We fished and relaxed in the peaceful, morning sunshine. We then had brunch where the chef surprised us with mini muffins because she was trying a new recipe! Later in the day, we shared our best moment yet—our engagement. We celebrated with a dinner by the water and a sunset walk to end the best day ever.

Please use the website to book with the Frank-Sponseller Wedding room block at the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Fort Wayne. The room block is open for Friday and/or Saturday, please adjust check-in/out when opening the website link. Parking is located at the Harrison St. Parking Garage, and with this room block, there is a discounted daily rate of $10 (bring the parking ticket to the front desk for validation). Parking is also free all day and overnight at the Silver Parking lot at Parkview Field/Tincaps. The cut-off to make reservations is September 26, 2025 by 11:59pm. Individual reservations cancelled less than 48-hours prior to the scheduled arrival will result in a fee of one nights room and tax.
