Our Wedding

Although Emily attended Valley View and Ben went to Southview for middle school, they remained close friends. Their friendship blossomed through regular Skype video chats, hanging out at their sisters' soccer games, and, of course, running into each other at the hockey rink.

Throughout high school, Ben and Emily remained close friends, though some might argue there was always a "spark" between them.

After College 2018

After college, Ben moved into a house in Mound, MN, with Hunter Olson and Pat Dee, while Emily was living at home with her parents. They would often bump into each other on weekends and gradually started chatting again.

September 12th 2020

Emily sent Ben a birthday text, and in response, he asked if she’d like to meet up at a brewery near his house to hang out and catch up.

That brewery date rekindled the spark between Emily and Ben. Having had time to grow and mature as individuals, they began going on more dates and spending a lot of time together from that point on.

Emily and Ben spent three wonderful years together as a couple creating amazing memories. Emily graduated from Dental Hygiene school in 2022, and during their time as a couple, they took annual trips to Breezy Point and Lutsen, enjoyed road trips to Iowa State for tailgates, attended Wild games, celebrated numerous weddings, and much more.In August 2022, they moved into a townhome in Eden Prairie, and on December 13, 2022, they adopted a cat named Mo and welcomed another cat, Yue, on October 1, 2023.

December 19th 2020- January 25th 2024

Emily and Ben have continued to create beautiful memories as a newly engaged couple. The best part? Their adventure together has only just begun!

What is the dress code?

Guests are strongly encouraged to dress in Cocktail attire. Also, please keep in mind that we will be having our ceremony in a Catholic church. There's a lot of sit-stand-kneel- If you're going to follow along with the mass (which you are not obliged to, btw!). You don't have to participate/pray (just be respectful). What do I do between the ceremony and reception?

Since we are having our ceremony earlier in the day there will be a gap between the ceremony and reception. Feel free to go out for a while, grab a drink! Or maybe go back to your hotel for a touch up. Do whatever you like! Just make sure to be back in time for the Party!

Will there be transportation from the hotel to the venue?

We will not be providing any transportation to and from hotel. Please plan a safe and sober ride in advance!

PARKING

If you choose to drive to the Reception- The beach club has a valet service that we will be using.Guests cannot self-park in the ramp. The beach club is required to use valet by the building because certain levels are reserved for wedding guests, restaurant valet and residents. Valet will be on-site one hour prior to the start of the event and one hour after.&nbsp;

Am I allowed a guest?

Due to our venues capacity, we are only allowed a certain amount of people. Unless the formal invitation stated that you get a plus one, please do not assume and bring a plus one.
