This love story began many years ago when Justin was 17 and Emily was 18. Justin messaged Emily on Instagram one evening to catch up (they had been familiar with each other previously as family friends) and eventually, he asked her out on a date to see a movie at the Falls Mall later that week. Their date went wonderfully and Justin went on to ask Emily to be his prom date and later, his girlfriend. While their relationship was very short-lived as young teenagers, they steadily moved on with their lives and went to college, navigating through their early twenties.

It wasn't until five years passed that Justin and Emily would cross paths again. In the late winter of 2021, Emily and Justin saw each other for the first time again as Emily was visiting Justin's sister, Taylor (their one and only matchmaker) and the sparks they once had for each other reignited. Just a few months later, Justin set up a ~casual~ date with Taylor and Emily... and the rest is history.

Justin proposed to Emily on June 28th, 2023 in the beautiful town of Charleston, South Carolina at the historic Angel Oak Tree while they were vacationing there for the summer. The couple is so grateful for the endless love and support they've received from their precious family and friends during all seasons of their relationship.
