For our U.S.-based family and friends, we recommend flying into Edinburgh Airport (EDI). It is 15 mins away from the wedding venue and roughly 20-30 mins away from Edinburgh city center. For our U.K.-based family and friends, you have the option of train, plane or automobile.

We have a weekend of events planned for you! If you plan to attend all 3 events, we recommend arriving on Friday, June 7th (please note this may require a flight on Thursday evening if flying from the U.S.) and stay until Monday, June 10th.

Unfortunately, no hotel blocks are available given Taylor Swift's concert on our wedding weekend. We highly recommend booking as soon as you can. We have included some hotel options within the Accommodations tab of our website. If for any reason you can’t find a place to book in the right price range or are unsure of location / hotel, we are happy to help and just a text away! We love the area and want the best experience for you all!

Typically, the daytime temperature in June ranges from around 11°C to 18°C (52°F to 64°F). It's a great time to visit, as the weather is generally warm and mild. Don't forget to pack some layers and a waterproof jacket, as occasional showers are not uncommon in Edinburgh throughout the year. Given Scotland weather can be a bit unpredictable, we recommend checking the weather closer to the trip!

We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us for our big day! Our wedding day is black tie optional / kilts encouraged (see more detail on kilt rentals below).

If you are interested in wearing a kilt, there are a number of great kilt rental (or "kilt hire") options within Edinburgh. We recommend using MacGregor and MacDuff. To get the rental process started, please email weddings@macgregorandmacduff.co.uk and let them know you are a guest at our wedding. As much as we love your little ones, unfortunately we can only include the children in our wedding party at our ceremony and reception. However, we recognize that some of you may be traveling with your kids, so please know they are welcome at the Rehash the Bash - Sunday's post-wedding festivities!
