1. What should I wear? Is there a dress code?


The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear black cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a black suit and/OR dress shirt, tie and pants.


2. What will the weather be like this time of year?


The weather should be relatively hot and humid this day but you will be inside. The temperature of the greenhouse is moderated but please dress for summer conditions.


3. Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?


The ceremony and venue will be taking place at the Madison Greenhouse in New Market.


4. Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?


We are aiming to have the ceremony indoors and the reception as well. The only thing subject to change could be the ceremony being outdoors.


5. What happens after the ceremony?


After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall where beverages will be served and the rest of the night will commence.


6. Does your wedding have a theme?


Our wedding colors are green, black and gold.


7. What should I do if I can’t make it?


You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.


8. What time should I arrive?


We recommend that you arrive at least 30 - 40 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!


9. Where should guests park? Is parking free?


Parking is available at the venue and is free.


10. Are kids welcome?


This will be an adult-only event with the exception of the flower boys.


11. Can I bring a date?


We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Please reach out to Richard if you have any questions 289-314-1994.


12. Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?


We are considering having a hotel block for guests depending on the interest shown. Holiday Inn Express & Suites is located 8 minutes away from the venue.


13. When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
Please RSVP via this website by March 31st, 2024.


14. Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?


Yes, there will be a buffet supplied by Olive and Fig’s catering and options for alcohol at the bar.


15. Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?
Yes, there will be vegetarian options based on your RSVP.


16. Where are you registered?


We do not have a registry but there will be a table for cards & gifts.


17. Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?


Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #RichEm2024 so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
