I met Emily while out dancing. She was taking lessons that she didn’t need and I was so bad that I constantly stared at the floor. Emily tolerated me through a lot of poor dancing, so she must have liked me. The feeling was mutual. Through many conversations ( and dances! ), we learned of shared values and sense of humor. We have so much fun on road trips both little and big, Emily makes wonderful travel plans and I show up. It’s exciting to get to marry my best friend, someone I admire so much and have tremendous love and respect for.
