We met online in 2017 and had our first date at Holy Hill, the largest (and probably only) basilica in Wisconsin. True to character, Quinton arrived about 1.5 hours early and Emily arrived 15 minutes late. After walking the grounds at Holy Hill, accidentally sitting in on mass, dancing in a restaurant parking lot and getting kicked out of Starbucks, we figured we should probably go on another date. Apparently 9 hours isn’t long enough for a first date!

Fast forward 2 years and here we are in France as part of our 2 week vacation in Europe. Since Emily has traveled more outside of the US, she was in charge of planning where we were going and had asked that we visit the Estate of Versailles while in France. After walking what seemed like forever (yay 30,000 daily steps!!), we sat down on one of the benches in the gardens. Quinton asked Emily to do him a favor and had her read a note he had slipped her moments before. It read, “Will You Marry Me?”. As she looked up, he slid a ring box over and asked her to marry him. Like any sane person dating Mr. Incredible himself, she of course said yes, which is what brings us here today.

Every moment we’ve spent together has been full of laughter and love. We consider ourselves incredibly lucky to have found each other. We are so incredibly grateful for the love and support each and every one of you has given to us. We cannot wait to FINALLY celebrate our special day with you. THANK YOU for being part of our story!
