They say the best love stories are the ones that grow over time, and ours is no exception. Although we officially met during our senior year of college, we had known of each other since freshman year through mutual friends. Little did we know back then that our paths would lead us here, writing the next chapter of our lives together. Christopher’s first impression of Emily was that she was a kind, cheerful, and bright young woman who lit up any room she entered. For Emily, Christopher stood out as someone who was caring, kind, and incredibly goal-driven. Our connection grew naturally, and when Emily agreed to meet Christopher after one of his late restaurant shifts at Applebee’s for our first date, it became clear to him that she was someone truly special. For Emily, it wasn’t a single moment but rather the consistent care and kindness Christopher showed that made her realize just how much he meant to her. Over the years, we’ve built a foundation of love, laughter, and shared adventures. From our engagement trip to the beautiful beaches of Punta Cana to a ski trip in Boone, NC, and annual trips to Hilton Head Island, our story has been filled with unforgettable memories. Each of these moments has been a reminder of how much we enjoy creating a life full of fun, adventure, and togetherness. One of the things Christopher admires most about Emily is her incredible ability to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds, always making others feel welcomed and valued. Emily, on the other hand, loves how Christopher can bring humor and lightheartedness to any situation, making even the toughest days feel brighter. Together, we balance each other perfectly—Christopher’s mellow, relaxed nature complements Emily’s energy and excitement, creating a dynamic that keeps life both grounded and thrilling. Together, we’ve grown and matured, from buying our first home to learning how to take care of our beloved dog, Tucker. Each step has taught us more about love, patience, and what it means to be a team. As we prepare for our wedding day, we are filled with excitement for the milestones ahead and deep gratitude for the family and friends who have been part of our journey.
