WILL THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

The ceremony will take place outdoors, weather permitting. Cocktail hour will take place outside with an option to head inside the ballroom early for the reception. We know June in Georgia can get hot!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. Examples for women would be short cocktail dresses, midi-length dresses, or classy jumpsuits. Please refrain from wearing white or colors similar to this. For men, they can wear a suit (tie optional) or slacks and a dress shirt (sports jacket/blazer optional).

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

We recommend arriving 15-30 minutes early before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

WHAT DATE SHOULD I RSVP BY?

The RSVP deadline is May 28th, 2025. Please RSVP online by selecting the rsvp option on our website. If you need assistance, please contact Emily or Craig.

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event (besides those in the bridal party) so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE WEDDING VENUES?

Free parking will be provided to guests. There is a spacious parking lot at The Georgia Club.

WILL THERE BE ANY PROVIDED TRANSPORTATION?

The Georgia Club is located about 17 miles from downtown Athens. We have booked complimentary buses to transport our guests from the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education and Hotel to the venue before the ceremony. Buses will also be available from The Georgia Club back to downtown / the hotel after the conclusion of the reception. We want to make sure everyone gets back safely after our party! CAN I BRING A GUEST/DATE?

We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

CAN I TAKE AND POST PICTURES OF THE WEDDING ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

We are asking to have a technology free ceremony as we have paid a professional photographer who we love to capture this moment. Please feel free to post your photos of other moments throughout the night and tag us so we're able to see them all!
