Our Wedding

Our StartCasey and I met in 2017 at Georgia College in Milledgeville, GA. Casey's sister, Katie, introduced Casey to our friend group and we became fast friends. A year later Casey asked me to hang out on Valentine's Day. I couldn't tell if he was asking me on date. We were on the hunt for soup dumplings because of a YouTube video we'd watched, so it seemed like something friends would do but it was Valentine's day so I was suspicious. Regardless, I was excited to hang out with him one on one. We ended up eating Ingleside Pizza and getting waffle coned ice cream. That night, Casey dropped me off at my dorm room and after an hour of hanging out in my door frame he told me how he felt about me. We've been going on adventures, playing music, and doing life together ever since. Our Engagement StoryOur engagement was a fantastic day. When I think back on it, the signs pointing to the proposal were so clear and I completely missed them. Casey had everyone in on it. My mom took me to get our nails done, my whole family was getting dressed up the same day I had a fancy date, the little walk to the small art art gallery to "kill time" before our dinner reservation. There were so many things I could have questioned. I missed all the signs and I'm thankful I did because it was perfect for us. We love art so Casey took us to the Madison Artist's Guild Gallery to waste some time before our dinner reservation. He stopped us in front of a landscape painting that he had painted for our proposal and he asked me to marry him. We had a big back yard party with our friends and family afterwards and it was a beautiful day. Emily and I met in high school chorus class in 2014. Emily shared her sour patch kids with me and that was the start of a friendship that has blessed my life beyond measure. The last 9 years of having Emily as my best friend has been amazing and I’m so thrilled to get to stand by her side on her wedding day! I met Casey when I visited Emily at school and immediately knew how much he cared for my friend and knew that they were great together. I’m excited beyond belief for the wedding and can’t wait to make many more memories together!

I’ve known Emily for many years now, and she is a wonderful friend to have in my life. We met at Georgia College, and the first thing I noticed about Emily was her kind heart. We quickly became friends and bonded over coffee, watching Gilmore Girls, going on random trips to TJ Max to smell candles and our love for Thai food, (shout out to Mama Ning’s in Watkinsville). Emily also introduced me to my husband Sam, a favor I returned by introducing her to my brother. Casey is my little bro and best friend. Watching him grow up into the confident and caring man he’s become today has been a privilege. From making mud pies together in the back yard, to discovering dinosaur bones while riding the GoKart, to pretending we were spies in elementary school, to being track stars together in middle school, to enduring hot band-camps in high school and then going to the same college where we all became friends, Casey and I have truly experienced most of our lives together. I can’t believe y’all are getting married! I am honored to be a part of this big day when y’all start your lives as husband and wife. I love y’all both so much!

Growing up together Casey and I have shared many moments and adventures. Casey is not just my brother, but my best friend. We can always count on one another to help get something done or simply to make the other laugh. Not only has he been an amazing brother, but most recently, an awesome uncle as well! I’m glad he has found someone to love that he too can count on and laugh with! I wish you and Emily the best!

Hi, my name is Bryan! The first time I met Casey was in 6th Grade band class. I was sitting next to him and he played the soundtrack for Braveheart on his saxophone and he asked me if I recognized it. I told him it was the music from braveheart and from that moment on we were destined to be best friends. From ducks, to fishing, to picking weeds, and even being on the other side of the world from each other, our friendship still stays strong! Casey is a brother to me, and I couldn’t ask for any greater honor than to be a part of his big day! Emily is one of the sweetest people I know she is just the right person for my best friend!

Hey there! I'm the groom's favourite Englishman. I first met Casey in 2018 at a summer camp in the Colorado Rockies. We quickly became fast friends; we bonded over hobbies, music, and our love of the outdoors. After the summer, I visited him in Milledgeville, which was where I had the pleasure of meeting Emily for the first time. Mine and Casey's love of music led to many songwriting sessions and impromptu karaoke over the years, and I cherish these moments dearly. I couldn't have met two kinder people, I am so honoured to have known them as individuals and also a couple. I'm glad and excited to be a part of their day as they take the first steps on their next great adventure.

I first met Casey when we were at Georgia College. I actually met Emily first, and she introduced me to Casey’s sister Katie. I remember the first time I visited Katie and Casey’s house. We went to the Bostwick Cotton Gin Festival and Katie introduced me as her friend, to which Casey said, “he’s my friend too, I can have friends!” I eventually swept Katie off her feet and away to Ohio, but that's another story. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know Casey over the past several years and watching as he’s furthered his skill and love of music, something we both share. He is one of the finest, most genuine men I know. I got to know Emily during my many trips to the snack cabinet in her dorm. She is a wonderful, fun-loving, and spunky person. I also feel partially responsible for getting these two together. Back in the days before they started dating, Emily and Casey spent weeks talking and hanging out. I finally had had enough of watching this spectacle, so I loaned Emily Katie’s beanbag for the evening, and their formal relationship was born. I’m so glad that I could play a small part in getting them together, and I couldn’t be happier that these two great friends of mine are getting married, afterall, they’d still be holding hands if it wasn’t for me.

Traveling for a wedding is sometimes fun and sometimes a challange. So I wanted to include some suggestions for places to stay. Vancleave is not the most populated area and therefore is not plush with hotel options. The following hotels and casinos are within a 30 to 45ish minute distance from the wedding location. Airbnb and Verbo have nice homes to book as well. I just haven't a clue how to add them onto this website. :)
