In 2012, Dylan and Emily met during freshman year at Franklin and Marshall College. They were lucky enough to be assigned to the same dorm, Brooks’ House, only a floor apart. Dylan first caught Emily’s eye on one of the first days when he was smart enough to hold the door open for her while she was on crutches after a sprained ankle. Throughout orientation and freshman year, they became good friends. But a full blossoming relationship was not in the cards at the time.
In 2017, a year after graduation at F&M, and with the help of several mutual friends, Emily and Dylan were encouraged to reconnect. After a great weekend with close friends, and a few months of talking, a relationship long in the making began. It was fitting that with Emily’s background of collegiate tennis and Dylan’s love for all things racquet sport, the relationship officially started with a date to the US Open.
Fast forward to August 2023, Emily and Dylan moved to Nashville for a job opportunity for Dylan. While they continue to enjoy their new adventure in Nashville, they are excited to host their wedding in Lambertville, NJ, close to Emily’s hometown. No one can predict where their future will take them, but Emily and Dylan will always hope to keep their family and friends close as they value these relationships deeply. They are looking forward to celebrating their special day with you in October 2024.
