While both attending St. Cloud for school, both Emily and Jake enjoyed their extra curricular activities… One evening, both attended a mutual friend’s house party! Once Jake arrived, he quickly noticed an unfamiliar girl sitting on the couch with which looked to be like her girlfriends. Amazed by her beauty, Jake was quick to grab his buddy who was hosting to ask who this girl was as Jake spent a lot of time with this friend, he had never seen her before! His buddy jokingly responded, “back off, those are my girls”! Later on that evening, Emily also took a liking in Jake and asked another girl who he was, to which someone responded, “he has a girlfriend.” Though not true, Emily continued on with her night out with her friends! As her group was leaving, Jake made an attempt to approaching Emily and having a short introduction conversation which didn’t go far as Emily was certain he had a girlfriend. While Jake was determined, the following day, Jake was quick to find Emily on Facebook and add her as a friend! After Jake impatiently waited, Emily finally accepted. Not knowing what to say, Jake messaged Emily, “Hi!”.. From there, the rest is history! Emily and Jake quickly started to get to know each other and spend a lot of time together! Months later on New Year’s Eve, Jake finally asked Emily to officially be his Girlfriend at his cousin, JD’s restaurant back in 2016! (Picture of that evening attached)
