Welcome to our Tinder success sorry...

It was the dawn of some day in the fall of 2020...I was bored, and perhaps a little drunk, maybe stoned (don't tell the cops 🤫) and was scrolling through good ol' Tinder, because why not?!?

Just moved to a new town, looking to get laid 🤷‍♂️ and came across little miss thicker than a snicker and did a HARD swipe RIGHT (IYKYK) and lo and behold, we MATCHED!!

Then Emily messaged me first...

"I see you like to cook, and I like to eat"

Then I hit her with the "How about tomorrow, my place!!" She, OF COURSE said yes.

I had it all planned out...48 oz. Tomahawk Ribeye, homemade potato gnocchi (rolled from scratch because, duh a chef's gotta do what a chef's gotta do), steamed broccoli with aged parmesan and a nice little garden salad. Walked in the snow THREE miles BOTH way to get the groceries AND the table and chairs (since my furniture was still in Seattle in storage).

5 o'clock came around...and CRICKETS...

No response, for weeks...

Then she hit me with the "Wanna cuddle? 😏" after a LONG Halloween night. I was at a local strip club and was like "Nah."

The next day after some much needed sleep, she came over for my FAMOUS hangover trash can crockpot and then we spent just about every day together after that.

Joking aside, the last five year we have had the PLEASURE of building three businesses, birthing two beautiful children, navigating through loss of employment, loss of family members and dear friends, we wouldn't change it for the world.

Come and REVEL in our next huge milestone as we get to say "I do" to the one we have decided to share even more of the triumphs, inevitable loss and beauty that is life, enduring whatever blessings and challenges life will throw at us, TOGETHER as we marry our best friend!!
