We are asking guests wear black-tie clothing. For women, we prefer long gowns or midi length dresses. Men are welcome to wear tuxes, or may wear a black coat and tie. We want to reflect the dress code of the country club, so black-tie is preferred but not required.
Can I bring my child?
We love your children, but unless specifically notated on the invitation, we are opting to have an adults only event. We are choosing only to having children of immediate family members present at the ceremony and reception as they will be a part of the wedding.
How should I RSVP?
Due to mail delays in the Atlanta area, we kindly ask that you RSVP online if you can.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. Please plan to arrive at 4:30pm. Late guests will not be permitted to walk into the ceremony and we will ask that you wait until the ceremony is over to join us for cocktail hour on the grounds.
Where are the accomodations?
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hotel Avalon. Please follow the link on the travel tabs. There are also other options listed on the travel tab.
Can I bring a guest?
We have addressed the invitation to the people we would love to come. If you received a plus one, it will appear on your invitation.
What will be served?
We will be having a seated and served meal. Please select your meal option on the rsvp. There will also be an open bar.
What should I do if I can't make it to the wedding?
We will miss you, but we understand. If you cannot make it, please let us know as soon as possible using the rsvp option or get in touch directly with Nick or Emily.
Can we leave our car overnight at the venue?
It is not recommended to leave your car overnight out of respect for the club members. If you feel this may be an issue, please try to utilize a ride share service.
Can I bring my gift with me?
Thank you for your generosity! We ask that all large gifts be mailed to us if possible via the registry. There will be a card box on site for smaller parcels. If writing a check, please be sure you address it to either Nick Efird, or Emily Harrison to avoid delays during the name changing process.
