It was a December day in 2023. Emily decided to pay her parents a visit. ( Okay, maybe there's a little bit more to the story... But we will save that part for another time )


When she walked in, she noticed the cute banjo boy giving her dad lessons. It was on from here. Leslie ( Emily's mom) paraded her around the house to spark interest between the two. After a bit of conversation, Jonathan decided to send Emily a friend request on Facebook and the two began chatting. They decided to meet up at her parent's New Years Eve Pickin' Party a few days later.


The New Years Eve Party was a success. Full of pickin', flirtin' and grubbin'. However, the night didn't stop there. Jonathan texted Emily to make sure she got home safely. Somehow the two chatted on the phone until 5 in the morning.


As they say, the rest is history...
