Attire for the wedding and reception is cocktail attire. The ceremony will be held outdoors, and the reception indoors with access to the grounds.
Attire for the farewell brunch is casual, and will be in a combination indoor/outdoor space.
Should we wear a certain color?
We encourage our guests to wear whatever makes them feel great! If you would like to match our color scheme, please see the below photo for our wedding colors.
What is a Farewell Brunch??
The farewell brunch is just another opportunity for us to spend more time with our family and friends, as we recognize many of you have had to travel far distances to be here with us.
This will be a casual event, with light appetizers/bar snacks provided. If you are unable to attend this additional event due to other obligations or travel plans, (or if you are simply too tired from wedding festivities!) we completely understand.
How far away is the venue from Downtown Cleveland?
Sapphire Creek is about 30 minutes from downtown Cleveland.
Where should we stay?
See the Travel Tab! If you do not wish to stay at the hotels we have selected, we recommend Airbnb in either Chagrin Falls, Cleveland Heights, Shaker Heights, Tremont, or Ohio City.
We do NOT recommend staying west of Ohio City, in East Cleveland, or in Hough areas.
Do I need to rent a car?
Public transportation in Cleveland is not great. There will be a shuttle service for the day of the wedding from our main hotel, and there are multiple dining options within walking distance from the hotel, so it is not necessary to rent a car. We recommend using Uber/Lyft to get around when necessary.
Will there be an open bar?
Do you even know us?? Of course!
How do we catch the shuttle to the wedding?
The shuttle service is only for guests staying at the Marriott hotel. The shuttle will leave from the front entrance of the hotel promptly at 4:30pm. If you miss the shuttle you will need to arrange your own transportation.
Return shuttle service will occur from the venue to the hotel starting at 8:30pm. These will run continuously until midnight.
Will there be transportation arranged for the brunch on Saturday?
Unfortunately no, we recommend utilizing Uber or Lyft if you do not have a car.
