Peyton and I used to play this game called phishball which was basically volleyball on a tennis court. That is where we met, and where he asked for my phone number :))
On our first date, he took me to a coffee shop (clearly he knew the way to my heart), and then we went to a park. We talked for a while, drove around, and then went to eat at TGI FRIDAYS (it was his idea, I give him crap for it frequently). We ended up hanging out for 8 HOURS that day. I liked him a lot, and I thought he was very charming; he knew how to crack a good joke.
On our second date, he set up a projector in his backyard, and we watched Ford vs. Ferrari. We sat in bungee chairs and ate popcorn. It was very sweet, and he put a lot of thought and pre-planning into it.
Finally, on our third date, we went bowling. Peyton is very competitive, and so am I in certain situations. Those situations usually include Peyton, because he gets upset when he loses to me hahahah. Anyways, he would roll the ball down the middle, and all the pins would be knocked down. But when I would roll the ball down the middle, there would always be a couple of pins left standing, even if I threw it perfectly. So I concluded that I just needed to roll the ball faster down the lane. Well when I threw the ball harder, my right leg swung around, knocked my left foot out from under me, and I fell (quite violently) on the ground. I got up so fast and looked back at Peyton, and his jaw was on the floorrrr. We laughed a lot, and then he beat me (but I did eventually beat him in a game a few months later:))


We have had so many memories together, but I wanted to share the foundational dates that led us to where we are now. We are so thankful for every day that we get to spend together, and we cant wait to celebrate with every single one of you!!
