Our Wedding

Wyatt and Emily started dating June 27th, 2017. Shortly after we started dating, we had to go our separate ways off to college. Wyatt was off to NDSU in Fargo, ND and Emily went to WSU in Winona, MN. Six hours and many miles apart. After a year of long distance, Emily transferred to Minnesota State University of Moorhead. We went from 6 hours apart to 6 minutes apart. College was filled with lots of homework, going to school events, driving 3 hours home to visit, and figuring out how to be an adult. Some highlights of our Moorhead/Fargo years were hanging out with each other's friends, getting a pet bunny named Cheez-it, moving in together and just exploring the area together throughout the years! Through these first few years of our relationship, we already made so many memories together and had grown so much. But with the good times, always comes the hard times, too. In March of 2021, Emily lost her mom. Wyatt was nothing short of being right by her side through everything. This was a challenging time, but Emily is forever grateful for Wyatt's never ending love and support. During the past couple of years, we realized we are meant to be together more than ever. In November 2022, we moved back to Minnesota and bought our first house together! We live in our home with our beloved dogs, Olive and Zoey. We (or should I say Wyatt) have been doing lots of renovating and love seeing the house slowly become our home. On April 29th, 2023 we spent the day in the cities. While out and about, unknown to Emily, our families helped Wyatt set up the house for his proposal. When we got back, he proposed to Emily and she (obviously) said yes! Let the wedding planning begin!

Maren and Emily have been best friends since they were 3 years old. Since then they have been through life's every moment, big or small, happy or sad together. They have been talking about this day since they were little girls and Emily could not imagine anyone else as her Maid of Honor!

Samantha is Wyatt's older sister and has welcomed Emily into their family with open arms since the day they met. She is someone who you can always count on. Emily cannot wait for them to officially be "sisters!"

Samantha is one of Emily’s best friends since middle school. They went their separate ways after high school for college, but distance had no impact on their cherished friendship. Emily is forever grateful for a friend like Samantha.

Breanne and Emily quickly became besties in college. They even lived together for a bit! One of Emily's favorite memories with Breanne is going to Puerto Rico with her. Emily is so grateful to have had an amazing friend during college and till this day.

Breanne Thielen

Leti lights up any room she walks into. She is always so fun to be around and will always be there for you. Emily and Leti became besties in college and Leti even spent Christmas with her family one year! She is a true friend!

Brenna is the Maid of Honor's younger sister and is like a sister to Emily, also. When Maren and Emily were younger and hungout, they used to be so annoyed by Brenna. But, now the three of them are best friends and love doing stuff together.

Tyson is Wyatt's younger brother. Wyatt has been someone Tyson can look up to spending many hours together building and fixing things such as computers and 3D printing. Wyatt cannot wait for him to stand by his side on the big day!

Tyson Bloom

Ryan is Emily's older brother who is traveling all the way from beautiful California. He has always supported everything she has done and welcomed Wyatt into the family. Wyatt can't wait for them to be "brothers!" It means so much to us for Ryan to be a part of our special day!

Owen and Wyatt became friends in 6th grade and have been best buds ever since spending lots of time gaming together and went on a roadtrip to South Carolina together. We also have Owen to thank for setting Emily and Wyatt up!

Owen Brewer

Nathan also became one of Wyatt's best friends in 6th grade. Nathan, Owen, and Wyatt were a trio for many years and have many fun memories together. Wyatt is excited to have his life-long friend stand by his side on the big day!

Nathan Andersen

Jordan was Wyatt's roommate throughout college becoming a great friend to watch football with. Wyatt is a co-best man in Jordan's wedding. They are both excited to be apart of each other's special days!
