Emily and Nathan met in August 2015 when they moved into their freshman dorm, Monroe Hall, at William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA. They met at a dorm mixer during freshman orientation week. They started dating a month later, in September 2015.

Emily and Nathan attended several date parties and formals for their sorority and fraternity over their four years of college.

They've had several fun Halloweens together!

Emily will take any opportunity to go to a beach; Nathan mostly humors her.

Emily and Nathan both share a love of leisurely boat rides and take any chance they can get to get out on the water.

Emily and Nathan graduated together in May 2019 and headed off to New York City!

Emily and Nathan moved into their first apartment together in NYC in the summer of 2019 and started their jobs. Their first apartment was literally 100 square feet!

When the pandemic started, Emily and Nathan moved out of New York and started bouncing between Nathan's family in Pennsylvania and Emily's in Virginia.

Emily and Nathan have spent many birthdays together, since Nathan's 19th birthday in 2015!

In August 2021, Emily and Nathan went on a cruise down the Danube River, stopping in Germany, Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary!

Emily and Nathan have spent many holidays together and love being able to spend time with each other and each other's families.

In March 2022, Emily and Nathan traveled together to Paris!

Emily and Nathan moved back into the city in the summer of 2021. Luckily they upgraded and over quadrupled their square footage in the new place! Nathan started a new job in the fall of 2021, and Emily started a new job in the spring of 2022.

In May 2023, Emily and Nathan moved out of New York City and into the suburbs - Stamford, Connecticut. They upgraded yet again, almost tripling their square footage!

On September 2, 2023, at sunset on the beach in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Nathan proposed!

Nathan had organized the trip and set up a photography session and a candlelight dinner for two on the beach. He convinced Emily it was part of a regular resort package - he played it off very well!

As they were coming to the end of the photoshoot and nearing their dinner table, Emily noticed a heart of rose petals and tealights on the sand, and when she turned around, Nathan was down on one knee!

In October 2023, Emily and Nathan adopted their kitten and best friend Mango! Mango is so excited to see her parents get married!
