Where do I RSVP?
RSVPs can be made directly on our wedding website. Select 'RSVP' or go back to the home page and select the RSVP tab! Please reach out if you're having trouble and we can manually input your RSVP :)
Where can I find more information about travel accommodations and details?
Please see the 'Travel' tab located in the top bar of our website. Here you will find airport information, border crossing details, recommended flights/airlines and more!
Do I need a passport?
YES! If you need to get a passport or renew an existing one, we recommend checking your local post office, FedEx, UPS, or AAA locations. You can also contact passport agencies for more information.
Are kids invited?
We regret to inform you that no, we cannot accommodate children. Unfortunately, the venue we are booking is at an adults-only resort, so we kindly ask that all attendees at our wedding be 18 or older.
What does 'all-inclusive' mean?
It means that everything is included! That's right: food, drinks, room amenities, entertainment, and recreation are all included when you book your stay!
When should I book my stay?
Please see the 'Room Booking' tab for more information on the booking process. There, you can view pictures and estimated costs. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns!
*DEADLINE FOR ROOM BLOCK RATES ARE FEBRUARY 8TH.*
Can I use points toward my hotel stay?
Yes; however, please reach out to our wedding and travel coordinator, Tanya, at tcameron@destinationweddings.com to be added to our group count and receive more details. Please note, if you plan to redeem points, you will need to book directly through the resort. Unfortunately, points cannot be applied to reservations made through our group room block.
If you choose to redeem points, kindly let us know so we can update the group count accordingly.
Where will the wedding festivities take place?
At the resort! The ceremony and reception will take place at a private venue on the resort property.
Who should I contact with any questions or concerns?
Please feel free to reach out to any of the following individuals via email or text with any questions or concerns:
Emily ~ (760) 936-1710 / ylimezer@gmail.com /
Kent ~ (760) 419-3447 / peterkentdunn@gmail.com
What’s the dress code?
The wedding dress code is formal summer attire. Ladies, we suggest a long/midi, dress—floral prints or solid colors. Gentlemen, a button-up shirt, whether short sleeve or long sleeve, paired with dress pants is a great option.
How will I get to the Hotel?
For more details, please visit the 'Travel' tab. Also, be sure to check your inbox for an email from our travel coordinator, Tanya. Once you share your flight and accommodation details with her, she can assist you in arranging transportation through the resort!
What's the predicted forecast and how should I pack?
Like most tropical destinations this time of year, Puerto Vallarta may greet us with a few passing showers—typically in the early morning or late evening. Expect mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the high 80s to low 90s, occasional clouds, and plenty of humidity.
We recommend packing light and including:
A few “casual elegant” outfits for dinner,
swimsuits,
beach-friendly footwear,
sunscreen,
a hat,
a light jacket for cooler evenings, and
a small umbrella for passing showers.
What if I'm staying off the resort?
We hope you have a fun and relaxing vacation—we can’t wait to celebrate with you at the wedding and hopefully see you around town too! Please be sure to coordinate with our wedding coordinator regarding your hotel access pass and transportation to the resort. As always, don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns!
What’s the schedule for the wedding day?
Our wedding will take place at Terraza La Vista, located in the heart of the resort. There will be clear signage to guide you to the venue.
The celebration runs from 5:30–10:30 PM, and we kindly ask guests to begin making their way to the venue between 5:00–5:15 PM.
Following the ceremony, we’ll gather for a group photo and enjoy cocktail hour. Then it’s on to the reception—complete with toasts, dancing, and a grand celebration to wrap up the night!
In the event of rain, we’ll either move to an indoor venue or wait out the light showers. We’d love to enjoy the beautiful outdoor setting, and we hope you don’t mind the chance of a little rain. Be sure to pack an umbrella, just in case!
They say rain on your wedding day is good luck—we're ready for whatever the day brings, but we're praying for sunshine!
Will There be any Group Meet-Ups?
We sure hope so! Be sure to check out the 'Things to Do' tab for a list of activities and excursions available. We're hoping to plan an additional evening—outside of the wedding—to gather with everyone for dinner, drinks, or maybe even a show!
Otherwise, we’d love to bump into you by the pool, at the bar, or in a friendly game of beach volleyball. We’ll also be heading off-property for a few excursions and would love for anyone interested to join us!
Feel free to text, email, or reach out to Kent or me anytime—we’re excited to spend as much time as possible with all our favorite people!
