Great question! There are several things happening in the small town of Babbitt that same weekend, so the sooner you reserve your place to stay, the better!
Are there any reserved hotel blocks?
Yes! We have set up one hotel block at the Junction Inn & Suites in Babbitt. Space is limited so be sure to call and reserve your room under Emily Jaeger room block for the weekend.
what if the weather is bad?
We are hoping that the weather will be warm and sunny the day of for the ceremony - but alas, we do live in Minnesota! So, unless the weather is super cold, downpouring, or heavy snow or sleet, we will be having the ceremony outside. Please dress for the weather!
What time should I arrive?
We recommend arriving at least 20-30 minutes before the ceremony start time to ensure there is enough time to park and grab a seat. :)
Is there camping available?
Yes! At Timber Hall Event Center, there is going to be campsites and hook-ups. It is $25 a night per camp site (you can bring an RV/Camper/Tent). This is a great space to be right next to all the action and fun that will be had over the weekend! If you are interested in camping onsite, please email us at ecjaeger2024@gmail.com.
On my invite it says "kids", what are the ages of that?
Great question! We have a lot of friends and family coming to the wedding that are bringing families. We considered the "kid" range to be 12 years old and younger. This allowed us to come up with ideas and activities to keep the younger kids busy and included!
is there going to be a cocktail hour between ceremony and reception?
We are both super excited for the big day but also nervous! That being said, we are probably not going to be able to eat much before the Big Show, so we are going to be super hungry after the ceremony. No cocktail hour will be happening because everybody, including the bridal party and couple, will be going straight to the reception after the ceremony to get food!
Is the bar going to be open or cash?
We are really excited to party with all of you and have a great time, but sadly we did have a budget to stick to! The bar is going to be a cash bar but there are going to be some non-alcoholic beverages available throughout the reception hall such as water and pop.
