Our Wedding

Emily & Josh met through mutual friends when they were in their early twenties. They always&nbsp;enjoyed spending time together at gatherings with their friends, always laughing at each other's jokes and enjoying getting to know each other. A few years later, Josh took a job that required him to travel for work, and around&nbsp;the same time Emily was figuring out her plans to pursue a master's degree in counseling.&nbsp; As luck would have it, Josh was working on a job outside of New Orleans the same summer Emily was accepted into the counseling program at Loyola University New Orleans. A dear friend reminded Emily of this when she was planning to visit the city before relocating, and Josh ended up acquainting her with the city. They went on their first date, in the Marietta Square, a few weeks later when they were both back in Atlanta.&nbsp; They knew then that they had something truly special.&nbsp; 

While Josh was traveling for work and Emily was earning her degree they visited each other as often as they could. They were lucky that Josh's job allowed for regular&nbsp;traveling. Emily visited Josh all over the country, from Charleston, SC where they spent their first New&nbsp;Year's Eve together, to El Paso, where they both fell in love with the desert through their many adventures, and so much in between. The years they spent&nbsp;together in New Orleans were&nbsp;unforgettable. From the food and the fun, the parades, the scenery, and the amazing people they met along the way, they will always have a special place in their hearts for The Crescent City.&nbsp;

Moving back to Georgia after Emily graduated meant better career opportunities for both of them, as well as the ability to be closer to dear family and friends. They are looking forward to spending their lives together, through all of life's future adventures.&nbsp;
