Emily and Logan are both from Tomball, TX and are high school sweethearts. They met each other through mutual friends in 2018 at a bar in Conroe, TX that hosted teen nights every Sunday. They quickly found they had a lot of common interests and became good friends.

They started spending a lot of time together on the weekends and not long after, became an exclusive couple. However, Emily was a senior in high school while Logan was a junior. Soon, Emily moved to College Station to attend Texas A&M University. However, the couple still made a priority to see each other. After Logan graduated, he started spending more and more time in College Station and eventually, moved in with Emily. While Emily is attending Texas A&M to attain her Ph.D., Logan works full time for Montgomery County.

Eventually Logan decided that it was time to pop the question after 6 years together and got the help of their friends to help pull off this surprise. Emily had discussed her ideal proposal spot before and wanted it to happen with scenery so, he used their anniversary that was coming up as an excuse to go on a trip to Canyon, Texas to hike the Palo Duro Canyon and propose there. However, there was much push back from Emily about going on the trip because she was just getting back from a conference in Georgia and didn’t want to travel right after. She eventually relented and they hopped in the car to go to the Canyon.

Emily was still clueless as to what was going to happen and the plan was to go hiking through the canyon and propose on the hike. However, nature and nerves had other plans. The first hike they went on, the nerves were high and nothing happened, so they drove around to the other side of the canyon to go on another hiking trail. As they started on the next trail, storm clouds moved in and it began to rain on them so they had to go back to the car and abandon the canyon. Logan knew that it wasn’t ideal but there was no other option so, when they went to dinner that night for their anniversary he proposed at the restaurant. Emily was completely shocked but of course she said yes!

After six years together, Emily and Logan are now finally ready to tie the knot and begin their happily ever after!!
