Jett and Emily met in college on September 21, 2019, at a University of North Texas football game. Jett knew he wanted to get to know Emily a little better so he asked her if she would want to go on a date with him. They exchanged numbers and went their separate ways. When planning the date, Jett wanted to treat Emily to a nice hibachi dinner... Emilys love for fried chicken never let that come to fruition. In actuality, Jett and Emily went to Raising Canes for their famous chicken tenders and sweet tea. Jett got a sweet deal on dinner and figured hed found his future wife.


On October 16, 2019, not only did Jett turn 21, but he also asked Emily to be his girlfriend. Emily couldnt say no on his birthday. Thus their journey together took its first big step. The longer their time together, the more Emily knew she had found her life partner.


Since then, Jett and Emily have shared many amazing memories: hiking up 11,000 ft to see Sky Pond in Rocky Mountain National Park, exploring the island of Oahu, camping in Big Bend National Park, and taking a road long trip through New Mexico.


Finally, they made their big move to Pensacola, FL where Jett proposed on Johnson Beach. Of course, Emily said YES!


Jett and Emily are so excited to start the adventure that will shape the rest of their lives. They appreciate all the people who have loved them throughout their journey! They are excited to share their special day with each one of you!
