Where is the cocktail/reception being held?
The reception is being held at The Refinery at Perona Farms in Andover Township, NJ!
Where is and what time is the ceremony?
The ceremony will be held at Our Lady Queen of Peace church, the address is 61 New Dorp Ln, Staten Island, NY 10306 @ 1 in the afternoon. Even if friends and family didn't receive an invite to the reception (due to limited space) you're more than welcome to see us tie the knot at the church!
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Yes, but just be respectful of the space, other guests and our photographer.
Can I bring a guest with me or a plus one?
Unfortunately no, all guests invited to the wedding will receive a formal invitation with their name on it. This is due to strict capacity rules within our venue.
If in the event we have many cancelations, Louis and I will discuss the possibility of plus ones for certain guests.
What if I forgot to RSVP to the reception?
If you do not RSVP to the reception before the deadline, you will unfortunately not be able to attend.
However, the ceremony at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church (starting at 1pm) is open to all so you'd still be able to see us tie the knot.
Will children be invited to the wedding?
We have made the decision to not have young kids at our wedding, with the exception of the flower girls and ring bearer. We made this decision due to staying in venue capacity and budgeting. We hope that everyone understands, thank you!
Will there be a dress code at the wedding?
There isn't a specific dress code but just dress presentable for a wedding. Nobody has to but we would love if our guests dressed in warm fall color to go with the theme, but its 100% not mandatory!
Are there any colors we should avoid wearing?
This might be obvious to mention but please don't wear any color intended for the bride so any variation of white, or mostly white dresses.
What is the weather like this time of year?
The wedding will take place in mid-November so it can be as warm as 60 but it can also get as cool as 30. Just keep an eye on the weather and dress accordingly!
Will the cocktail hour and reception be inside or outside?
The cocktail hour is mostly inside. The part that is outside is about 50% covered, 50% not. The covered area has a bar and fireplaces. The part outside that isn't covered has fun yard activities like corn hole!
The reception area is 100% inside!
I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?
Shoot me a message on facebook or call/text! Our venue is very accommodating, we can definitely figure something out.
