Emily and Chris met on Facebook dating in February 2022, like true millenials. They bonded over a shared love of board games, dogs and country music. Their first conversations included discussing their favorite board games and their dogs. They had their first date at Faces brewery in Malden, conveniently after football season ended so Chris could give Emily his undivided attention (until September). Chris worked hard to be early to make a good first impression on Emily. Emily was late because she wanted to represent her true self, and parking in Malden isn't easy!

Their first date felt natural and they both knew they wanted to see each other again soon. Chris planned thoughtful dates that he hoped Emily would enjoy, and she was impressed by how well Chris led the conversation! She avoided eye contact for a few months, but was excited to spend time with him. He hoped she'd look at him one day.

Some of their first few dates were Hibachi, where they shared their first scorpion bowl, a comedy show, the Kowloon, and Six Strings bar and grill to see live country music, where they stayed until closing after midnight. Emily fell asleep on the drive home.

Throughout the past 3 years together they have visited 5 countries (too many according to Chris, not enough if you ask Emily), 8 states, and 6 football stadiums (too many according to Emily, not enough if you ask Chris). Emily is looking forward to traveling to many more countries together. Chris hopes a trip to Epcot will count.
