Emily and Jackson met at school in the summer of 2023. Emily had just became a Resident Assistant on campus and joined the cross country team, both of which Jackson was a part of as well. Emily and Jackson quickly realized how much they had in common, and soon enough those team dinners became, "I'm only going if you're going". A season of cheering each other on at track workouts and helping each other with late-night RA calls built a friendship that turned any simple moment into a fun and memorable one. On October 14, 2023, Jackson took Emily to dinner in Annapolis where he asked her to be his girlfriend. All those sparks that had been flying since August finally lit the flame of a love that can not be put out. As Emily and Jackson grew closer to each other, they both felt a call to bring their faith in Jesus into the relationship, and build a life that honors God. They fell in love with their church community, where Emily began serving in the nursery with the 2 year old's, and Jackson in middle school with the (then) 6th graders. Following Jesus has encouraged so much growth in each of them, and made their purposes in life clear: to love God, and love others. On August 1, 2025, Jackson asked Emily to marry him... and she said YES! Emily and Jackson are ready to celebrate their love by joining in a marriage covenant with God and themselves, choosing to love each other selflessly, the way Jesus loves everyone!

1. Nature walk at Soldiers Delight (Visitors Center). This scenic spot is where we took the beautiful engagement pictures you've been seeing! 2. Mitchell's Golf Complex: We have had so many fun afternoons at Mitchell's! Both on the driving range and mini golf course. Or if you're up for it, try their 9-hole course. 3. The Reister's Daughter: This adorable, historic coffee shop on Main St. is where we like to spend our slow Saturday mornings together, or meet up with friends!

Our Registries

Emily and Jackson have rooms blocked for their guests at the hotels listed below: **UPDATE: The Marriott has been booked to capacity, so we are no longer able to extend our room block there for the rest of our guests. We are in the process of securing another block at a hotel within 5 min from the Marriott! We will have the new booking information uploaded shortly, thank you for your understanding!

Check-In begins at 4pm each night. If you would prefer to check in Saturday before 4pm, please call ahead to ensure that your room will be ready in time! To book with the discounted rate, reserve your room by July 15. Parking at the hotel: Garage 1 is closest to the hotel, but Garage 1 and 2 both offer free parking!
