Emily and Megan first met in college at the University of Cincinnati in 2016 while living on the same floor of Calhoun Hall. They became fast friends and when finding out they only lived a short distance from each other in Cleveland, much of summer break of 2017 was spent together.

After a summer of getting to truly know each other and what makes the other person tick, Emily and Megan's friendship blossomed into the beginning of an amazing love story. In September of 2017, Emily asked Megan to be her girlfriend, which she happily accepted.

For the past 7 years, Emily and Megan have continued to grow in their relationship, both graduating from the University of Cincinnati, and beginning to navigate life outside of college. They moved into their first apartment together, where they welcomed their two precious cats, Bean and Benny, and they found their love to continue to flourish as each woman found their place in their adult lives.

On October 1, 2022, Emily took the first step to forever with Megan by proposing in Olmsted Falls at Grand Pacific Junction. In true Emily and Megan fashion, it started with a simple "You know I love you right?" and ended with a "Will you marry me?"

A few weeks later, Megan planned her proposal to Emily at the Purple People Bridge in Newport where back in 2017 they had placed a lock on the bridge; symbolizing their love. With the beautiful view of the sunset in the background, Emily accepted her ring from Megan.
