Our Wedding

10 years in the making. What started as junior prom dates became a relationship that has been through it all. We've been through 4 years of distance in college, 3 years of distance in adulthood, and now get to start our marriage and family in one place together. We're grateful for these twists and turns that have created the foundation of our relationship. It has taught us to roll with the punches, be adaptable, and value what truly matters: spending time with the ones we love. Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey so far. We're excited to embark on the next chapter!

Marriage Sponsors (Godparents)

In Filipino tradition, the couple will ask adult figures in their lives to also be a part of their wedding ceremony. These ninongs &amp; ninangs acts as godparents to the couple throughout their marriage. They provide advice and guidance to the couple and usually have played a role in their relationship growth. They are often role models the couple leans on for support during their nuptials and throughout their marriage.

Given how many of our friends and family are local (and Birmingham has plenty of hotels and rental homes to offer), we have chosen not to hold a hotel block. A list of recommended hotels are below. Emily's weekly commute spot! BHM is a convenient way to access Birmingham with daily direct flights from Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, New York, and 13 other cities. All major airlines serve BHM along with seasonal flights from low cost carriers.

In between the ceremony and the reception, you'll have the opportunity to see a little of what Birmingham has to offer, catch up with family, and rest before the big party!
