All of the wedding events are located at the Hyatt! The welcome party is located at the Breakwater Pavilion, the ceremony and cocktail hour are located at the Manor Lawn, the reception is located at the Choptank Ballroom, and the after party is located at Michener's Library.

All guests invited to the wedding are encouraged to stay at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa, and Marina! Rooms can be reserved using our link located under the "Accommodations and Travel" tab.

One of the many reasons why we chose the Hyatt as our wedding venue includes the numerous amenities available for guests. At the Hyatt, you will find an 18-hole golf course, three swimming pools (two outside; one inside), a full-service spa, restaurants, water activities, and so much more! Attire is Casual Cocktail with a coastal twist — think light, airy fabrics like linen and cotton that move with the breeze, and a palette of soft, sun-washed colors. Sundresses, button-downs, and linen pants or shorts are perfect for the setting.

We'll have light bites to enjoy as the evening unfolds by the water, accompanied by live music. Wine, beer, and seltzers will be provided.

Both! The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors while the reception will be indoors.

Attire is Garden Party Formal, which blends traditional formalwear with the breezy charm of an outdoor setting near the Chesapeake Bay. Outfits should be refined and seasonally appropriate, with light, breathable fabrics and a palette of colorful, summery tones. After the reception, keep the celebration going with us at Michener’s Library, located just below the main lobby entrance. A cash bar will be available for guests to purchase drinks, and we’ll have late-night snacks on hand to keep the energy up as the night continues!
