Zac and Emily met on Hinge (we know, we know "boo dating apps"). Zac rescued Emily from a terrible double date and after some pizza at midnight the rest is history!

The couple both love to read and discuss their books. Zac loves to climb mountains, but is willing to settle for hikes if Emily comes along. Their favorite thing is going on adventures together and camping out in their rooftop jeep camper.

While living in Texas, Zac and Emily experienced what they described as their category 5 hurricane of their relationship. In the span on one month, Emily totaled her car, Zac was let go from his job, and then all four tires got stolen off their remaining vehicle. During this time, the couple became a strong team, unified against the problems that the world was sending at them. After this difficult time Zac and Emily added their own challenge to the mix and moved across the country to Emily's hometown in Michigan. They figured that if they could make it through all of that and still be happy, then they could tackle the battles of life together, forever.
