Black tie optional--this dress code is slightly less formal than a black-tie wedding. So, a tuxedo isn't required, but can still be worn if preferred. (The groom and wedding party are wearing tuxedos). For women, the outfit choices are a floor-length dress, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit.

As much as we love little ones, we appreciate your helping us to make this an adults-only weekend.

October is a typically a gorgeous month in Asheville. We anticipate beautiful weather, but it can get chilly at night out on the mountain. We suggest layers!

Car or Uber/Lyft! Uber is quick and easy in Asheville and surrounding areas, and there is parking available at most attractions and restaurants. For transport to the wedding venue on Saturday, we have arranged sprinter vans for your convenience. You are more than welcome to drive but know you will be driving on winding mountain roads.

Our ceremony is outdoors, but cocktail hour and the reception will be held in an open air tent with access to outside areas.

We encourage you to take photos and videos during events leading up to the wedding and during the reception, but ask that you kindly put your phones away during the ceremony.
