Absolutely must see! We almost had our wedding here; beautiful grounds and lots of history. They also have a bunch of kitties roaming around the property, some of them with a few extra toes!
Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park/Beach

This is where our ceremony will be on the beach! We absolutely LOVE this beach and historic site; we were going to have our wedding in the fort! Must visit the fort and a good beach close to everything.
You have to pay $2.50 at the gate to enter but ask for the code of the day so you can keep coming back if you have to leave.
Smathers Beach

Nice public beach a little farther up; about a 15-20 min bike ride or 10 min scooter ride! A little softer sand and bigger than Fort Zachary beach but can stink sometimes from the seaweed depending on the time of year!

Key West Cemetery

If you’re into history or spooky things like us, definitely check out the cemetery. All the graves are above ground and it looks very different from what we see in the north. It’s a beautiful place to see.
