Where to begin! The Outerbanks is such a special place to both of our families. Chris and I have both been vacationing in the Outerbanks since we were little kids (check out the photos!) and have the most nostalgic memories when we think about all of the times we have spent here with our friends and families. This is absolutely one of our favorite places on earth, and we couldn't think of any other place we would rather get married. It is our hope you create a special memory with us here for our big day!
Where should I stay?
Check out the travel section! We would love for people to stay with their family/friends in a house nearby the venue to create memories of their own in this special place! The Hampton Inn & Suites has also been kind enough to offer a 15% discount if you call and book mentioning our names.
WHAT'S THIS WELCOME PARTY ABOUT?
If you are planning to come in to town and enjoy this BEAUTIFUL time of year for a few extra days, we would LOVE to see you for more than just one night. Please feel free to stop by and hang out for as long as you want as we kick off our wedding weekend! Snacks and hors d'oeuvre will be provided, BYOB!
WHAT'S THE WEDDING DRESSCODE?
A dress, jumpsuit or dressy romper/two-piece sets will all work for the ladies in our beach formal attire. As for shoes, since we will be getting married in the grass, opt for chunky heal or wedge heels, or dressy sandals.
As for the men, wear either a suit or a long-sleeved shirt with a jacket and slacks, ties are completely optional. Dress shoes or a nice pair close toed shoes are your best bet for comfort and style throughout the night.
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
The Whalehead Club is a part of the Historic Corolla Village. We encourage you to walk around and take in all of the natural beauty this sound front property has to offer! Check out the image below for a visual on where to park. If you type in Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education, it will take you past the three major parking areas.
