Ryan and I met on the dating app Bumble. We both were open to going on a date but Ryan had informed me he would be deploying in 2023 and didn't want to have a girlfriend for that (mind you it was 2021). We went on our first date and hit it off extremely well. The next day I was leaving for a family vacation for a week , and truthfully didn't really expect to hear from him much if even at all. To my surprise we texted every day of my trip and saw each other the day I came home. After that day I would say we were pretty much inseparable. I would stay at his house in Johnston and he would stay at my house in Dartmouth, and we would alternate most nights.

Our relationship has the perfect amount of balance where my personality is very outgoing and energetic, while Ryan is out going, he is also calm and knows how to talk me down when I need him.

His deployment for 10 months in 2023 was the ultimate test of our relationship, and although the hardest thing we have ever been through I can say it 100% made us stronger. We are so excited to get married and celebrate our love with our family and friends !
