While trying to survive the cold and new territory of Michigan, these two Southerners met each other (if you count Florida as the South). While getting to know each other as friends, they found many similarities and differences that made life more exciting and complimented their personalities. They made many friends along the way, and introduced each other to some old ones, and before they knew it, their time in the North was over. They packed their bags up to return home to the South, having gained knowledge, wits, friendship, and a giant school debt, they were ready to start their adult lives and careers. But most importantly they returned home not alone, but having gained each other. Friendships continued, adventures arrived, as this Floridian that was used to the swamp had to adapt to a drier environment, but alongside her love and his loving family, nothing seemed hard. Then came the day the Texan would complete his secret mission, the most difficult one to complete, and after taking his magic potion, Aperol Spritz, he felt almost ready. Four years of winter, eight hours of clinical exams, twenty-two hours of driving, seemed nothing compared to the fifteen minutes it took to paddle out into the lake, get on one knee, make sure the ring doesn't fall and ask," Will you marry me?"
