We met in August 2015 at Davenport University while both on the track and field team.

Shout out to Schylar Bradford for letting me know I didn’t hear Mike say bye to me while I was leaving for Illinois on September 18th. I felt bad so I messaged him on Facebook apologizing that I didn’t hear him. We then texted that whole weekend and made a plan for him to pick me up from the train station when I came back.

Our first date was September 26th, 2015 in Grand Haven, Michigan to watch the always beautiful sunset over Lake Michigan followed by dinner at the Kirby Grill. We made it official October 1st, 2015 and will be married after just over 6 years❤️
