•We’re dreaming of a day that feels romantic, light, and joyfully dressed—so think garden party chic with a semi-formal twist.•Pastels, soft florals, light neutrals, airy fabrics, and summery silhouettes. Flowy midi or maxi dresses, relaxed tailoring, and anything that feels fresh and elegant in the sunshine. Below are some images of what we are imagining, but the most important part is just having you there! Please wear what makes you comfortable (and ready to dance!!!).*Please note that the ceremony is in a grass area, stilettos may be a challenge!

Back in 2017, two 16-year-olds were set up by friends who clearly knew something we didn’t. Emily showed up expecting a normal introduction, but instead found Sam in his front yard, fully camouflaged (in a ghillie suit) and grinning. It was unexpected, hilarious, and somehow… exactly right. From that moment, something just clicked.Not long after, we shared our first kiss on the Mayor Moss Bridge in Tacoma, WA — a quiet, sweet moment that felt like the beginning of something much bigger.Our relationship grew through mountain air and salty ocean breezes: wandering the trails of Mount Rainier, watching sunsets at Alki Beach, and building a connection that stayed strong through three years of long distance. Since May 25th, 2018, our lives have been filled with laughter, adventures, and the soft purrs of our beloved cat, Phoebe.Then, on August 25th, 2024, in the peaceful beauty of Point Defiance, Sam got down on one knee and asked Emily to spend forever with him. She said yes with a heart full of love and a future full of promise.Our love is centred around equal parts joy, friendship, and deep, genuine connection. From a camouflaged first meeting to choosing forever, this is our story and it’s only just beginning.
