Emily and Nick have known each other since before they were born. Yes, you read that correctly. Their mothers were friends who were pregnant at the same time with the two of them. Emily and Nick were born two months apart. There are even pictures of them in the crib at church, on play dates, dressed up for Halloween, and at Nick's 1st birthday.

As life got busier, Emily and Nick went their separate ways and didn't reconnect until they were 29 years old. They went on their first official date to Hopeland's Gardens to see Christmas lights.

Eventually, they were inseparable and had many adventures from mountain trips to Clemson games and from Disney trips to pumpkin patches.

After a little over a year and a half of dating, Nick popped the question at the place where they had their first date. They've both known since reconnecting that they were meant to spend their lives together and they cannot wait to get married!
