In the days of shadow and stillness, when the world was cast under the pall of a great plague, hope seemed but a faint glimmer on a distant horizon, and love, a tale told by dreamers. Yet, it was in this dark age that a small and unexpected act would set forth a tale of destiny.
 
It began with the swiping of fingers upon a glowing device, and there, in the realm of Bumble, two fates entwined. Ben, ever watchful of the fleeting sands of time, extended the hourglass, for Emily, as was her wont, tarried long before the call of adventure. From their first exchange, the bond was light and laughter, a kinship so swift and certain that they knew they had stumbled upon something true.
 
When at last Emily escaped her fate of toiling in the desolation of medical devises, she found solace in the hallowed halls of Target, a sanctuary amid the chaos. Together, the two ventured forth, leaving behind the lands they knew. Across plains and rivers, they journeyed to a northern realm, a place of clear lakes, verdant parks, and the bright banner of progress. There, amidst this fair land, their tale began anew, full of promise and wonder.

Recently named to NYT's 50 best restaurants, The Aperture is an incredible Mediterranean restaurant owned and painstakingly operated by a good friend. Without a doubt the best pita you'll eat in your life. If we had never moved to Minnesota, Ben would be here. 

Over 100 year old Italian red sauce joint with eclectic style and a vintage feel. Don't have plans afterwards because you're going to want to lay down.

While you're in town, you have to try God's gift to Cincinnati and the world in Skyline Chili. We miss it daily and fantasize about it often.
