Our Wedding

Like all great love stories, ours started at LSU. We first officially met at (of course) a frat party during college. It was a couple months into COVID — the governor had just lifted some of the social distancing restrictions…and then almost everyone at the party ended up getting sick. As a result, for the next month or so, we didn’t really get to see each other again in person. But soon we found ourselves texting every day, getting to know each other from a distance. Once we were finally able to spend real time together, we quickly became inseparable. Since then, we’ve spent five amazing years together. One of our favorite things to do is travel — in just the first couple years of dating, we visited Las Vegas, New York, Colorado, and Mexico. And then life brought us somewhere we never expected: Shreveport, Louisiana, for medical school. Though being far from home was an adjustment at first, moving across the state together strengthened our relationship in ways we never could have imagined. We’ve truly grown up side by side, supporting each other every step of the way. Along the way, we also adopted our sweet chocolate lab, Stella Bean, who has become an irreplaceable part of our little family. Fast forward to May 2025 — we were headed to Destin, FL for our friend’s (shoutout Gracie!) birthday, or so I thought. As it turns out, much bigger plans were underway. With the help of our closest friends, Scotty pulled off the most incredible surprise proposal, and of course, I said yes! We spent the rest of the weekend celebrating through torrential downpours (iykyk), with endless laughs and lifelong memories made. We can’t wait to continue writing our story together, and we’re so excited to celebrate the next chapter with all of you!

By Air: The closest airport is Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) By Car: Both the ceremony and reception venues are easily accessible by car or rideshare (Uber/Lyft). Parking is available near both venues if you choose to drive.
