Our Wedding

We’ve known each other since we were kids. Over the years, there were eye-rolls, crushes, and missed timing, but life finally lined up in the fall of 2022.He was stationed in North Carolina, and I was about to start college in Texas. Somehow, late-night texts turned into something more. We officially became a couple on Halloween 2022, and by Christmas, we saw each other in person again for the first time in years. From there, it was long-distance: hours and hours on FaceTime, airport goodbyes, and soaking up every second when we could visit.In August 2024, during what I thought was a normal trip, he planned to propose over dinner, but nerves and a packed restaurant changed the plan. Later that night, while I was crying about leaving and cleaning out his freezer (yes, really 😐 I was trying to distract myself, I guess), he pulled out the ring. There was no big crowd, no elaborate setup, just us in a moment that was unexpectedly perfect.I canceled my flight and stayed a few more days. By December, we were moving me (and our new dog) to North Carolina. Now, with two pups and a place of our own, we’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.
