Restaurant Suggestions

We can suggest two finer dining restaurants in the greater Dover, VT area:

Sawmill Bar and Table

Two Tannery Road

Golf at Mount Snow Golf Club

For those arriving by Thursday evening, we are planning a golf outing on Friday morning, September 5th, starting at 8:50 AM local time.

Greens fees are $109 or $99 depending on final headcount, including a riding cart. There is a practice range, and the fee for a bucket of balls is $8.

A set of clubs and bag are available for rent at a cost of $30 for a standard set or $50 for a premium Calloway set.

DRESS CODE

Appropriate golf attire is required. Collared shirt is required. No denim, no cutoffs, and no t-shirts allowed. Players should not wear any type of fitness or workout clothing.

Golf shoes must have soft spikes, no metal spikes allowed. Sneakers are permitted.

If you are interested in joining us, please email Emily's dad, Dave Olander, at olander.dj@gmail.com.

If you are arriving on Friday or Saturday morning and would like to play a round of golf, you are welcome to book your own tee time online here.

Hiking Trails

If you'd like to enjoy a nearby hike, we can suggest two options.

WOODFORD TRAIL

The Woodford Trail at Woodford State Park is a scenic, 2.3 mile loop around a the Adams Reservoir on relatively flat terrain.

HAYSTACK MOUNTAIN TRAIL

For the more adventurous hiker, the Haystack Mountain Trail offers great views at the summit and a more rigorous climb over a round trip distance of 4.1 miles.
