Jason and I met while we were both members of the online chatroom Tinder. We exchanged a number of texts before we decided to actually get up the courage to talk on the phone. I vividly remember Jason asking me “Are you ready?” And of course, I said “Yes!”. Once I heard his deep voice I knew that this was someone I wanted to get to know more about.

After a couple of phone calls and about a month or so of us actually getting to know each other we decided it was time to meet up. We did just that in September 2019 and have been inseparable ever since.

Since Jason and I are pretty simple people, the proposal was nothing short of that.

He completely surprised me on Christmas morning. I woke up in a panic thinking I missed the garbage man. I then ran to the restroom and when I came back there was a gift bag sitting on the sink with a box in a box in a box. In that box was my ring. I was so surprised and looked over at him and that is when he proposed.
