There is so much to do in the South Bay of Los Angeles!

1. Three Piers:

a. Manhattan Beach Pier - MHB is a beautiful part of the South Bay and its pier is stunning. The streets have palm trees, cute beachy shops, and tasty restaurants. The very end of the pier even has a small aquarium. This is a good place if you want to do a little bit of shopping after a nice meal.

b. Hermosa Beach Pier - Hermosa is filled with bikers, volleyball players, skateboarders, and more. This is a very active pier, with lots of local bars and sunshine filled restaurants lining either side the pier.

c. Redondo Beach Pier - Home of some of the best seafood in LA, Redondo is historic (founded in 1888!) with tons of knick knack shops, iconic wave-shaped columns, and great ocean views.

2. Hiking:

Palos Verdes has some of the most beautiful views in Los Angeles with great hikes to match! If you feel like going on an active adventure, here are a few fun and stunning hiking spots: Palos Verdes Bluffs Trail (2.8 mi loop), Rancho PV Coastal Trail (1.8mi), Eagles Nest Trail (2.4 mi loop), Point Vicente Lighthouse (casual walk near our wedding venue).

3. Further Away:

Other attractions, like the Hollywood sign, the Hollywood walk of fame, Beverly Hills, and various museums are roughly 45-60 minutes north. We'd skip them unless you are planning an extended stay in Los Angeles.
