Nine years ago Rob purchased a duck boat from his friend, Kyle. Rob walked inside Kyle’s home to pay for the boat and met Kyle’s mother, Kara, and sister, Emily. After a short while of talking, Rob went on his way. Once the door shut, smirk on her face, Emily asked Kyle, “Who was that guy? He’s a silver fox.” Kyle brushed off her silly remark, laughed, and responded, “That’s Krupp’s best friend, Rob Steele. The one with the black lab puppy, Sam.”

Fast forward 4 years later, and it’s Kyle’s birthday. The plan is for Emily and her friends to join Kyle and his friends out in Richmond for celebratory drinks. Emily and Rob quickly hit things off throughout the birthday shenanigans. Trying not pay too much attention to how “natural this feels,” Emily tells herself she will likely never see “this Rob guy” again (maybe for another 4 years)! The next day, Rob decides his “unique” approach would be to message Emily on Instagram and send her a romantic line of “Still not sliding in my dm’s?” Unfortunately, the one liner worked. She messaged him back, scheduled their first date; and they’ve been together ever since!

Emily and Rob have a zest for worldly travel and spontaneous adventures around the U.S. Together they have traveled to Europe, Central America, the West Coast; and up and down the East Coast. They have a true passion for cooking and entertaining their families and friends.
