As COVID-19 hit at the beginning of their relationship, they found themselves spending a lot of time together early on. They camped, kayaked, hiked, hung out with friends, and did a lot of homework to fill the time.
After dating for 2.5 years, the couple moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, for Emily's graduate program. They biked all over town, learned how to live together, and grew a stronger relationship through all of life's changes.
After 4 years of dating, Cooper got down on one knee and asked Emily to spend the rest of their lives together as husband and wife. She said yes!
