We have all seen the devastation of Hurricane Helene and have prayed for the safety of the communities, the reunification of loved ones, and their recovery efforts.
While Pretty Place was our dream location to exchange our vows and have our guests witness the beauty of that chapel, we have decided to hold the service and reception at Jeter Mountain on November 9. We have spent a lot of time praying, communicating with our vendors, and speaking with local community members, trying to be sensitive to their recovery process.
The visual of the cross still standing at Pretty Place amidst the destruction is a reminder to us to support the community. Many people in the area have shared with us their eagerness to move beyond this devastation and rebuild stronger. They need kind, compassionate people to help them, and we believe the cross is guiding us to do just that.
We hope our guests will visit Pretty Place in the future, as it offers a truly special experience.
If your plans to attend our wedding have changed, please reach out to us via text or through this website.
We look forward to seeing you in November!
