What airport should I fly into?
Phoenix Sky Harbor is the major airport in our area and also very close to our venue.
Where should we stay?
Completely up to you/your party's interests/needs. The list of hotels we provided have a range of prices, some dependent on how long you're staying. They are all close to the reception venue. We chose Arizona Grand to stay for the wedding night, so we may organize some meet ups there during the week leading up to the wedding and the day after the wedding. We don't have a specific room block anywhere. There are also tons of Airbnbs in the area. We recommend booking early since spring training and other events are also this time of year!
What is the dress code for the wedding?
Anything goes with us, but something around semi-formal attire! Cowboy hats and boots encouraged at the reception (or ceremony if that's your style!). Yes, Matt will be wearing cowboy boots the whooole time :)
Is the reception indoors or outdoors?
Both! We will have dinner on the patio and then have dancing inside.
What can I expect following the ceremony?
The ceremony will end around 2:30pm-3:00pm, and our cocktail hour starts at 5:00pm at The Secret Garden. Following the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures and then plan to meet everyone at The Secret Garden at 5:00pm. We did this so we could enjoy as much of the cocktail hour with our guests as possible!
During the gap, we recommend dropping off cars if needed or grabbing a drink or snack at the bar at one of the hotels we recommended.
Is there formal transportation?
We will have a shuttle for everyone from the reception venue to the after party. Please plan on your own transportation to and from the church and to the reception venue. The reception venue does allow overnight parking but you must pick up your car between 9am and noon the next day.
Check back here for updates as the wedding gets closer! And let us know if you have any questions. Can’t wait to see you all!
